What Is Brush & branch hauling?

 Lawn Mowing

Brush and branch hauling is the removal and disposal of woody yard debris — downed limbs, cut branches, hedge and shrub trimmings, storm damage, and brush piles that have been sitting too long. We load it, haul it off site, and dispose of it properly. It covers material that's already down or that you've cut yourself. If you have a standing tree that needs to come down, that's tree removal and it's a different job with different equipment and insurance — we'll point you to someone who does it. What we handle is everything on the ground once the cutting is finished.

When Is Brush & branch hauling Necessary?

 Lawn Mowing

Most people call after one of four things. A storm came through and left limbs across the yard. They spent a weekend pruning and now there's a pile bigger than they expected. They're getting a property ready to list or rent. Or the municipal brush pickup wouldn't take it — most towns cap branch diameter and length, run pickup on a narrow schedule, and won't touch anything stacked wrong. There's no season for this one. Storm debris in particular is worth clearing quickly, since a wet brush pile sitting on a lawn kills the grass under it in about two weeks and attracts everything you don't want nesting near the house.

What Is Required For Brush & branch hauling?

 Lawn Mowing

We need three things: a rough sense of the volume, access, and confirmation of what's in the pile. Volume is easiest as a photo — send one and we can usually quote from it. Access means somewhere to park a truck and trailer within reasonable carrying distance of the pile, and any gates unlocked. On contents, this matters more than people expect: disposal and composting sites reject contaminated loads, so the pile needs to be woody debris only — no treated lumber, painted wood, fencing, or household trash mixed in. If it's all mixed together, tell us up front and we'll price it as a debris haul instead.
